The School Directors
We bring our own unique way of facilitating to each school weekend. We are delighted in seeing our students evolve and blossom in the safety of our Richmond home. We’re honoured to be passing on our love for the visionary restorative system created by Professor Rolando Toro, Biodanza’s founder.

My passion is Biodanza. After attending a weekly class for some years, I joined a biodanza school. I had no intention of becoming a facilitator but, by degrees, realized that it was what I wanted to do. I have been teaching for over 40 years now. My weekly class in Richmond, which has been running successfully for 20 years, is a constant delight. I am inspired and encouraged by the transformation I see in my students.
For me, Biodanza has been a rediscovery of the pleasure of music. It has ignited and fostered a deep interest in musical semantics as I create each vivencia and consider what each piece will evoke in the dance.
I’m married with 3 daughters, and I am proud to say that Anna has now finished her training and is a Biodanza facilitator.
My other passions are creating mosaics and painting in oils.
Children’s Biodanza, The Minotaur Project, Biodanza Voice Music & Percussion, The Tree of Desires, Identity, and The 4 Elements are all specialisms in which I’m trained.

Biodanza is an inspiration for me because it combines three of my passions: self-transformation, dance and music.
I started facilitating a weekly Biodanza group in January 2006 in Malvern, Worcestershire. It was a wonderful revelation to see how participants were positively transforming.
Becoming a Director of the London School is the ‘icing on the cake’ as our graduating students have spread Biodanza across the world and in turn increase the number of heart-centred human beings in society.
My ‘Journey of Self-Transformation’ began in 1975, nearly 50 years ago, and most of my life has been dedicated to a continual refinement using many systems.
I have been a full time Holistic Medical practitioner for almost four decades: Acupuncture, Shiatsu and Tai Chi among other holistic health disciplines. However, Biodanza gives me the greatest pleasure and fun, as a participant, facilitator and trainer.
I have traveled more around the world with Biodanza than any of my other disciplines, from Rio in Brazil, Cape Town, South Africa, Bali, and much of Europe, as a participant and facilitator. I call Biodanza ‘the crown jewel’ of the holistic field given the swift yet gentle way it resolves so many ailments and emotional dis-eases. It continues to be my passion to make it more well known in the UK since 2008.
My specialisms within Biodanza are Biodanza in Organizations and Biodanza Aquatica where the effects of Biodanza through being in body temperature water are greatly amplified.
In the London School, it has been a great pleasure to see our students transform during the training and later become facilitators, taking this amazing system of transformation into the world.
